| Abrons Art Center | January 14, 2010 | Dave Douglas and The Festival of New Trumpet Music's series Forward Flight commissioned three composers from Pulse (myself, Darcy James Argue, and JC Sanford) to write compositions inspired by Ornette Coleman. The concert featured Wilmer Wise, Lew Soloff, Taylor Ho Bynum, Gerald Cleaver, Warren Smith, Meg Okura, Scott Tixier, Judith Insell, and Will Martina performing:
