PS 321 Neighborhood Concert Series

Face the Music
2010-04-15   7:00 PM
PS 321 180 7th Avenue Brooklyn, New York
This new series curated by pianist Simone Dinnerstein features many great classical chamber performers. Face the Music are middle school aged students from the Special Music School in Manhattan and they have commissioned me to write a new work for them specially for this performance. Face the Music has performed a number of new music compositions including works from Phil Kline and David Lang and I am really excited and honored to work with them and their director Jenny Undercofler.

The program will feature the premiere of my work commissioned by Simone Dinnerstein for the Neighborhood Series, Liquid Timepieces, Mesh by Graham Fitkin, Nepomuks Dances by Marcelo Zarvos, How About Now by Nico Muhly, and Lipstick by Jacob TV.
